TED Meets TERRIFIER in Trailer For The Campy Thailand Horror Film NIGHT OF THE KILLER BEARS
4Digital Media has released a trailer for a campy B-style movie horror film from Thailand titled Night of the Killer Bears, the tagline of which amusingly reads, "Ted meets Terrifier". The movie originally opened in Thailand last year under the title The World of Killing People.
Night of the Killer Bears is a much better title as it involves a killer who is dressed up as a teddy bear. It looks like a silly fun slasher movie, and this is the synopsis that was shared:
After not seeing each other for a long time, 5 teenage friends living in the city of Bangkok go on a vacation together, staying at a quiet resort isolated from the city. Things take a dark turn, when it’s revealed each of them have hidden secrets and unbeknownst to the group, there is someone observing them. When one of them ends up brutally murdered, paranoia and distrust surrounds the group, motivating each remaining member to accuse each other of being the murderer or considering the possibility that the real murderer is the unseen presence observing them, and that they all are in danger.
Night of the Killer Bears was directed by Kanpong Banjongpinit, who made his directorial debut with the movie. It stars Sananthachat Thanapatpisal as Aim, Patchata Jan-Ngern as Win, Khemanit Jamikorn as Som, and Chanagun Apornsutinan as Tony. The movie will get a direct-to-VOD / DVD release on April 18th, 2023. Enjoy the trailer!
