TERRIFIER 2 Is Really Making People Faint and Vomit During Theatrical Screenings
The recently released horror film Terrifier 2 is apparently one hell of a crazy-ass horrifying movie experience. I haven’t had time to see it myself yet, but I’m hoping to watch it later this week. The big question is, will it make me faint or vomit? Probably not, but there have been reports of other people have!
One person said: "My friend passed out and the theater called an ambulance.” Another person said: "Just saw Terrifier 2. It was an amazing gory mess. The guy behind me passed out cold [and] crashed into my chair, another guy left because he didn’t feel good…I heard a guy puking hard & loud in the bathroom."
The film’s writer and director Damien Leone also took to Twitter to confirm that these reactions aren’t just marketing stunts. He said: "To everyone saying that reports of people fainting and puking during screenings of Terrifier 2 is a marketing ploy, I swear on the success of the film it is NOT. These reports are 100% legit. I wish we were smart enough to think of that!"
Terrifier 2 producer Steve Barton had previously warned people of "graphic violence and brutal depictions of horror."
Now, while some audience members can’t handle the insanity, other people are loving the movie, some saying that it’s a horror masterpiece. If you watched the movie, what did you think? If you haven’t watched it… do you plan on it?
Terrifier 2 has been given a theatrical release at over 700 screens in the US and will be available on DVD and Blu-ray in the UK from October 24th.
