Terrifying New Trailer for The Film GHOST HOUSE Kept Me Awake at Night
Let me paint you a story. I'm a writer for Geektyrant.com. It's late, but I know I want to get some articles written and help contribute. I find a trailer for a new movie called Ghost House. Cool! I like scary movies! How bad can it be? Well, Since watching the trailer, I have turned on all my lights and have moved to a place where I can run out of my house quickly if needs be, and no, I don't plan on going to sleep anytime soon. Like Ever.
The movie looks terrifying. Maybe because it's late, maybe because the monster in this has a thing for jump scares, maybe it's this new anti-stress medicine I'm on. Maybe it's you. But this thing has given me the hebejebes.
It starts kinda scary with girl running through a street. Fine. Creepy lady comes for her and it's creepy, but not like "I think it's after me" creepy. Then you see girl and guy on a wonderful vacation to Thailand and the guy proposes tot he girl. How sweet. So we won't be getting the usual teenagers do the darndest things in this scary movie. Then some strangers show them to a graveyard, and that's when the hebejebes start creeping in. Anyway. The graveyard is weird, the guys are weird, the way the guy says, "a souvenir" is weird. Then she touches it and I just feel unsettled. Ghost shit starts going down. Dudes run away. Why? Did they know it's evil? Why did they bring them there then? Are these guys just douches who are like, "Hey bro, want to curse some tourists, and maybe get ourselves killed as well?" There are so many questions! The lady honestly reminds me of the picture that looks scarier the longer you look at it. It feels like a foreign film but has English speaking actors. Like The Ring, but better.
I don't know. I'm scared. I don't want to see it, but I kinda do. If only to see it hopefully overplayed to the point that it will get the fear that exists out of my head. Like when I saw the Devil Face Guy in Insidious at first I was like, NOPE, but then I got a better look at him and was chill with it. It's all about perspective. Check out the trailer below. Am I going crazy?
