Terry Gilliam's TWELVE MONKEYS is Getting a 4K Ultra HD Release

Terry Gilliam’s classic 1996 sci-fi action thriller Twelve Monkeys is getting a 4K Ultra HD release thanks to Arrow Films. This film, which starred Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt, was awesomely insane. I remember seeing it for the first time and being completely blown away by the story that it told. I loved this flick!

The story centered on a deadly virus that was unleashed by a group calling themselves the Army of the Twelve Monkeys, “destroying much of the world’s population and forcing survivors underground. In 2035, prisoner James Cole (Willis) is chosen to go back in time and help scientists in their search for a cure.”

Brad Pitt was even nominated for an Oscar for his role as mental patient Jeffrey Goines. The movie is actually Gilliam’s most successful film, and it’s great that it has gotten the 4k remaster. You can check out the details below:
