Tessa Thompson To Return as Valkyrie in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

Another character from the MCU is now going to be in Avengers: Infinity War. Add any more and you'll have to call it "Infinity Cast". Ha!

While I am excited to see Valkyrie return for another film, I am a hair worried that maybe the cast is getting too big. I mean, I was worried about that a few months ago. Now I'm just trying to figure out how they're gonna actually pull it off. Part of me feels it is necessary to have such a big cast. Although seeing as the original comic had an equally huge number of characters in it, the other part makes me worry about how much of a role these parts will play. In the comic, you can do a quick scan of characters and be able to say hey, there's that person I like, but a film is so different in many ways. 

For one, if you are having an actor come in to play a role, you have to pay them, and if you pay them you want to make sure you get your money's worth. You don't want someone to just pop in as a cameo because suddenly all the fans of that actor who came expecting to watch that actor are now disappointed. 

But enough of that. This article is about the fact that Tessa Thompson is going to come back to play the role of Valkyrie in Infinity War. That should be cool and it also gives us a clue as to whether or not she survives Thor: Ragnarok. No matter how many people end up actually appearing in the Infinity War film, I hope they at least get a moment panning by all of them together. I think that would be cool. It may take a couple minutes to get through that shot but still... cool.
