Thanos is Rumored To Appear in Another Marvel Movie After AVENGERS: ENDGAME

It looks like there’s a chance that Avengers: Endgame might not be the last time we see Thanos in the MCU. A new rumor has surfaced from Games Radar that the Mad Titan will show up in another film that is coming. Before I dive into the details I’m going to throw up a spoiler alert. Yeah, I know this is just a rumor, but ya never know. This could turn out to be legit. I’ll let you decide if you continue to read on:

According to the rumor, Thanos will “appear in some capacity” in the upcoming Phase 4 film The Eternals. The movie is currently being developed by director Chloe Zhaol (The Rider) from a script written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.

The comic was created by Jack Kirby, and the story is set millions of years ago “when the cosmic beings known as the Celestials genetically experimented on humans, creating the super-powered individuals as well as more villainous off-shoots known as the Deviants.” Those two groups went on to battle each other throughout history to see which would eventually become the ultimate race.

It was pointed out that The Eternals will be set after the events of Endgame, and not take place thousands of years before The Snap, which has been a theory that some fans have had.

So, how does Thanos connect to The Eternals? Well, he has a brother that he’s never mentioned in the MCU named Starfox. Starfox is an Eternal. So, if Marvel did want to bring Thanos into The Eternals, there’s a good reason here for him to show up. It would certainly bring an interesting dynamic to the story.

There have also been rumors that that The Eternals could show up in Endgame. If that turns out to be true, then that would make this latest rumor more likely to happen. We’ll just have to wait and see.

It’s not too far fetched to think that Thanos could show up in The Eternals, but what do you all think?

It was also previously reported that the film will revolve around the female Eternal known as Sersi. She has the ability to manipulate cosmic energy to grant herself virtual immortality, invulnerability, and reshape the molecules of other people or objects.

According to That Hashtag Show, Marvel is expected to assemble a very diverse cast for the film and they are expected to start putting together that cast early next summer.
