That DUCKTALES Video Game Was Actually a Legit Pitch That Disney Didn't Pick Up

On April 1st, FDG Entertainment shared a Tweet announcing a new DuckTales video game titled DuckTales QuackShots. There were some really cool screenshots that got fans excited for the game! It was confirmed that this was just an April Fools Day joke, but… this was a legit game that was actually pitched to Disney!

In a follow-up tweet FDG Entertainment said, “Thank you for the overwhelming feedback on our #DuckTales Quackshot screens. We worked hard on a legit pitch to Disney but unfortunately never got the license. It would've been a shame to bury the material so it became this years #AprilFools. Maybe someday Disney will reconsider?”

Disney should reconsider! There was a lot o buzz over this post and now to find out now that this was an actual video game project that Disney passed up on… it’s disappointing. This game looks like it would be a fun adventure game!

Remember the original NES game? I loved playing that as a kid! This pitch was obviously inspired by that.
