In a surprising turn of events, it has been revealed that Ben Affleck's The Accountant was the most rented film of 2017. The fact that people would want to see the film isn't that surprising, as it was a really solid action flick, but the fact that it was one of the first DVD releases of 2017 (January 7) and wasn't beat out by anything else that entire year is quite the feat.

Thanks Slashfilm for the info, and if you haven't seen The Accountant, go ahead and rent it and let's see if we can make it the most rented film of 2018.
