THE ACOLYTE Showrunner Says That Kylo Ren Easter Egg in Episode 5 Is "There on Purpose"
When watching the fifth episode of Star Wars: The Acolyte, there was a little Kylo Ren Easter egg that was added, and fans wondered what the reason for that was.
At the end of the episode, when the villainous Qimir uses the Force to heal Osha’s wounds, Kylo Ren's theme is included in the scene. This was intentional and it means something, we just don’t know what.
The Acolyte showrunner Leslye Headland recently addressed the Kylo Ren reference. When asked if she could reveal what it meant, she said:
"Ah, wish I could. It is there on purpose, but I can't tell you why, and I can't go into what it is. But you shall see."
While she doesn’t reveal anything, we know the answer is coming. There are a lot of theories, though, and many of them include the possibility that Osha is part of a dyad in the Force, or that Qimir is not a Sith at all, but is instead is the first of the Knights of Ren.
We’ll just have to wait and see as an answer to this question is coming.
