The Action in The NIGHTWING Movie Will Be So Insane That There Will Be a "Stunt Oscar" Created For It So It Can Win

Nightwing is a pretty badass character and I'm actually pretty excited to see what director Chris McKay (The LEGO Ninjago Movie) is planning for it. One thing we know the film won't skimp out on is the action because one thing that I love about Nightwing is how great he is at kicking ass. 

During an interview with CinemaBlend, the director talked about the movie and amped up the hype saying that the action is going to be so insane that an Academy Award for Best Stunts will have to be created so that it could win it. 

"It's going to be unlike any other sort of superhero movie because it's not gonna rely on a lot of CG. This movie is going to win a stunt Academy Award. They're going to make a stunt Academy Award for this movie. I guarantee it. It's going to be insane."

We've seen a ton of badass action movies that don't rely on CGI to pull off certain stunts. Hell, if any film were to win an Academy Award for Best Stunt Work it would have to be the two Raid films. Is it possible that the stunts we see in Nightwing could be just as hardcore as the stunts we saw in The Raid and The raid 2? If so, that would be freakin' awesome! 

McKay is obviously trying to build hype up for the film, and you know what? With comments like this, it's working! It's good to know that Nightwing will be brought to the big screen properly. 

McKay has obviously got some big plans for action sequences in the movie. It's going to be fun to see what kind of fight sequences they come up with, with the character's acrobatic training.
