The Actual Relic of the Hand of Saint Teresa of Avila Looks Like The Infinity Gauntlet

Here’s a cool little fact that was shared with me by a friend that I thought I’d share with you. It shows us the actual real relic of the Hand of Saint Teresa of Avila. As you can see in the side-by-side comparison image, it looks very similar to the Infinity Gauntlet from the MCU.

I don’t know if this was used as inspiration for the design of the Infinity Gauntlet, but it certainly looks like it could be. I’m sure the artists who design the Gauntlet looked at all kinds of historical references as they were designing the gauntlet.

If they didn’t look look at the Hand of Saint Teresa of Avila as a reference, this must be one hell of a coincidence.
