Amazon Studios has released the final trailer for their upcoming new espionage thriller series Jack Ryan, which is based on the iconic character created by Tom Clancy. As a fan of the Jack Ryan franchise, I'm pretty excited about this new series and I think John Krasinski is going to do the character justice.

Amazon has high hopes for the series and they were confident in it enough to already greenlight an eight-episode second season.

Jack Ryan, an up-and-coming CIA analyst, is thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time. He soon uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.

Jack Ryan Season 1 is set to premiere on August 31st. Are you looking forward to watching this series?

This action-oriented drama follows Jack Ryan, the CIA operative at the center of a number of Tom Clancy novels that also inspired the movies The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, The Sum of All Fears, and Shadow Recruit.
