The ANIMANIACS Series Reboot Will Debut on Hulu This November!
The classic 90s cartoon Animaniacs is making a big comeback in an upcoming reboot coming to Hulu! It’s been announced that the series will premiere on November 20th, 2020! It will debut a full 22 years after the original series came to an end. 22 years! Good grief, it seems just like yesterday I was watching and enjoy that show.
Well, now fans will be able to enjoy it all over again with all new crazy adventures featuring all of the characters that we loved from the series. The original voice cast is also coming back to reprise their roles! That includes Rob Paulsen as Yakko; Tress MacNeille as Dot; and Jess Harnell as Wakko.
This reboot will see Warner siblings, Yakko and Wakko, and Dot, “three inseparable, irascible siblings who have a great time wreaking havoc and mayhem in the lives of everyone they meet. They have been locked away in the Warner Bros. water tower for a very long time, but they have found a way to escape. And escape they do — every day! Causing chaos and comic confusion, Yakko, Wakko and Dot run loose in the city, turning the world into their personal playground.”
Joining the trio will be fan-favorites Pinky and the Brain, who will also return to continue their quest for world domination. Season 1 will consist of 13-episodes and there’s also a second season in development consisting of 13 more episodes that will come to Hulu sometime in 2021.
Steven Spielberg has returned to executive produce the series, alongside Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation and Blue Ribbon Content. Amblin Television is producing the reboot in association with Warner Bros. Animation.
I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to see the Animaniacs back in action! I hope this reboot is as good as the original!
