The Artist of ONE-PUNCH MAN is Developing a BACK TO THE FUTURE Manga!

The artist behind the One Punch Man manga, Yuusuke Murata, recently announced during a Ready Player One film "celebration event" in Tokyo that he is developing a Back to the Future, manga series that is based on the classic 1985 film. If you're a fan of the movie, you'll be happy to learn the film's screenwriter Bob Gale is supervising the manga, and it will include additional story content that wasn't in the movie.

Even though the manga is said to be coving the story of the original film, the initial art released above features characters from the entire trilogy. Murata noted that drawing actor Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly has been an "extremely high hurdle" for him to overcome, but he vows to do his best. Below you'll find a page from the first chapter's color opening:

The manga will start serializing on the Kono Manga’s site sometime in the next couple of months. That will be followed with a compiled book volume set to be released in Japan on April 20. We have no idea when it will be coming to the US, but I'll be looking forward to checking it out!
