The ATARIBOX Is Available For Pre-Sale, But There Have Been A Few Changes
The Ataribox was originally announced at E3 2017, which brought excitement to fans from the classic days of gaming. The curiosity quickly erupted following the announcement and discussion of rumors, concepts, and hopes began to spread like wildfire over the internet.
The latest update for the Ataribox let us know that not only is the name changed to Atari VCS, but it isn't going to be a new console to battle against PlayStation and Xbox. In fact, the Atari VCS may very well have taken a path that meets modern and veteran players interest into a multi-use device.
If you are unaware, the Atari VCS is going to be a system that can connect online for the purpose of streaming. It will be focuses on providing people with an easy access to Netflix, Hulu, the works. It will also include multiple games, both classic and new, built in to the system for players to enjoy their nostalgia and memories. It's possible that the Atari VCS won't be full retro however. It is stated that you will be able to play from a wide variety of games on the console. It even comes with these specs:
