The Avant-Guards is a comic series from Carly Usdin and Noah Hayes published by BOOM! Studios’ BOOM! Box imprint. Well, now the misfit art students who make up the first ever basketball team for their school are getting an original graphic novel. This graphic novel appears to be the conclusion for the series as Usdin said:

“I’m so excited that Noah and I get to finish telling the story of our beloved Avant-Guards. The stakes couldn’t be higher — they’re fighting for the championship AND the future of the league. The final installment will include teamwork, romance, lots of surprises and a dunk or two!”

The Avant-Guards graphic novel will be available in September 2020.
