The AVENGERS: ENDGAME Trailers Won't Show Any Footage Outside of the First 15-20 Minutes of the Film
A lot of fans don’t want to have anything spoiled for them in regards to Avengers: Endgame. If this is something you’re worried about with any of the upcoming trailers, don’t be. In a recent interview with MTV, Kevin Feige was asked if the marketing strategy for the film was only to show footage from the first 15 to 20 minutes of the film, and Feige confirmed, saying:
“I’d call [the reports] somewhat accurate, yeah. “[For Avengers: Endgame in particular], being able to generate excitement without giving away any of the many, many, many, many secrets… would be ideal.”
He used the word “somewhat accurate” in his response, which means there are some other ways they are handling the marketing. As I’ve said before, I’m sure that those other ways include shooting fake footage for the trailers that we won’t even see in the movie. This is the same tactic they used Avengers: Infinity War.
It makes sense that Marvel Studios wouldn’t want to show more than they have to. The fans are already excited for the movie. They are already sold on seeing it! They just need to give us a few little bits here and there to keep the fans happy while we wait for the film to be released, but I never expect them to spoil anything for us!
The Joe and Anthony Russo directed film is set to be released on April 26th, 2019!
