The AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Blu-Ray Might Feature 30-Minutes of Extra Thanos Backstory Footage

Some possible new details have been revealed regarding the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War Blu-ray that I think will get some fans excited.

This has yet to be officially confirmed by Marvel or The Russo Bros., but while talking to Collider, the creator of Thanos, Jim Starlin, said that the directors plan to restore 30 minutes of footage dedicated to the villain's backstory.

They go on to clarify that this is footage that was initially removed from the theatrical cut and it would be re-integrated into the film for a new extended cut of the film. So, that's cool! An extra half hour of film time dedicated to Thanos' origin.

I hope this is true because I would love to see more of what that backstory would entail! We'll just have to wait and see if Marvel ends up officially confirming this or not.
