The Awesome Backstory of Hulk's Skull Bed in THOR: RAGNAROK Has Been Revealed

I'm sure you're all familiar with The Hulk's giant skull bed in Thor: Ragnarok. We've seen it in the trailers, but to get a good look at it, you can click here. Well, it turns out that there's a great story behind the bed! That story was revealed by Mark Ruffalo during an interview with CinemaBlend.

As it turns out, it's made out of the head of a giant monster that Hulk killed in the Gladiator arena. In fact, that was the previous gladiator champion before Hulk destroyed him! Here's what Ruffalo had to say:

"We had to basically figure out what happened, how he got there. He was captured like Thor was -- that's how he knows Valkyrie, and she becomes his coach along the way. He becomes the champion, they love him. He ends up beating the beast that the bed was made out of. That's the previous champion! He tore him in half, and made him his headboard. You do all that."

I loved that backstory! It's a fun little detail and it's cool that the creative team actually took the time to develop that backstory for something that isn't even mentioned in the movie. I would love to see Hulk fight that beast! Marvel should release a big budget One-Shot short film that shows how it went down!
