The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper Makes a Fantastically Fun STAR WARS Parody Album

I love The Beatles. I love Star Wars. But if you were to combine the two of them, would the result be good or bad? The answer? Pretty Good! Never has a random album matched up with a movie worked so well since Pink Floyd and Wizard of Oz. The band, Palette Swap Ninja, have created this parody album of The Beatles work using Star Wars as the reference.

This has been a project five years in the making, and it's done just in time for Star Wars' 40th anniversary and the Sgt. Peppers Album's 50th anniversary. This new album takes the original tracks of Sgt. Pepper and tells the story of Star Wars from beginning to end. Starting with "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band" retitled "Princess Leia's Stolen Death Star Plans" all the way to "A Day in the Life (of Red Five)". It has a lot of other great parody songs as well. One of my favorites being "Luke Is In The Desert" which is a parody of "Lucy in the Sky". Check it all out at http://paletteswapninja.com. You Can also enjoy it in the Youtube embed below with the music overlaying clips of the movie. Definitely funny and worth checking out.
