The BLACK WIDOW Solo Film Has Started Shooting and Here Are Some Set Photos and Video of Scarlett Johansson
It looks like Marvel Studios and director Cate Shortland have started shooting Black Widow’s solo movie! Some photos and video of Scarlett Johansson shooting on the set of the film have surfaced that you can check out below.
The movie is currently filming on the island of Vigra in the village of Sæbø, Norway, and as you’ll see, Johansson is sporting Black Widow’s signature red hair.

Johansson will be joined by David Harbour in the film along with Florence Pugh (Fighting With My Family), who will play the second female lead who has been described as a “kick ass female Bond” type character, and Rachel Weisz.
In regards to the story, there have been a couple rumors. One says that it will be set in 2006, which is a couple years prior to the events of Iron Man. The characters Red Guardian and Taskmaster are also rumored to be a part of the story.
The other rumor says that it’s set between the events of Captain: America Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Neither rumor has been confirmed.
I’m just happy that we are finally getting that solo Black Widow film, and I can’t wait to see what it delivers!
