THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Season 2 Is Currently in Development at Lucasfilm

Entertainment movie scooper Daniel Richtman aka @DanielRPK recently revealed that The Book of Boba Fett Season 2 is currently in development. While the show wasn’t the best of the live-action Star Wars series, fans did tune in to watch it, and it apparently had some impressive viewership numbers.

It’s not really surprising that we are getting a second season of the series. I just hope this next season is better than the first one. The best episodes in Season 1 were the ones that featured the Mandalorian, and it was cool seeing a live-action version of Cad Bane. For the most part, though, the show was kind of a mess. Hopefully, Robert Rodriguez doesn’t return to direct as it seems he was the weak link in the creation of the series.

Star Wars News Net also points out that Ming-Na Wen, who plays bounty hunter Fennec Shand, is looking forward to Season 2. During a panel at Fan Expo Boston, she was asked about what's next for her and this was her reply:

"Second season of The Book of Boba Fett, I hope! ... I never count my chickens before they hatch, because in this business, you just never know. But, knock on wood, they'll be announcing that soon."

There’s a good chance that The Book of Boba Fett Season 2 will be officially announced during the Lucasfilm panel at D23 Expo.

What would you like to see in the second season of The Book of Boba Fett?
