THE BOY 2 Casts Owain Yeoman and Ralph Ineson
The Boy 2 is assembling its cast right now, and Deadline has announced that Ralph Ineson and Owain Yeoman are the latest recruits. Yeoman is said to play Sean, the husband of Liza (played by Katie Holmes). Meanwhile, Ineson will play Joseph. The sequel to the 2016 film will follow this synopsis:
“A young family moves into Heelshire Mansion, unaware of the terrifying history of the estate. Soon, their young son makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily lifelike doll he calls Brahms.”
Stacey Menear has written both films, and William Brent Bell has directed them both. The film’s producers include Gary Lucchesi, Eric Reid, and Tom Rosenberg from Lakeshore Entertainment as well as Matt Berenson, Roy Lee, and Jim Wedaa. The Boy 2 does not currently have a release date, but principal photography is set to begin on January 14, 2019.
