THE BOYS Star Jack Quaid Joins Christopher Nolan's OPPENHEIMER
The Boys and Scream star Jack Quaid is the latest actor to join the cast of Christopher Nolan’s upcoming World War II atomic bomb movie Oppenheimer.
He joins an already stacked cast of A-list actors including Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Dane DeHaan, and Josh Hartnett.
The movie centers on J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who ran the Manhattan Project that led to the invention of the atomic bomb. The film has been described as an “epic thriller that thrusts audiences into the pulse-pounding paradox of the enigmatic man who must risk destroying the world in order to save it.”
The film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin. Murphy is playing Oppenheimer, and Blunt will play his wife. There are no other details on who any of the other cast members are playing.
