THE BRIDE is a New Horror Thriller Coming From Screen Gems and It's Being Directed By Jessica M. Thompson

Director Jessica M. Thompson (The Light of the Moon) is set to helm an upcoming horror-thriller coming from Screen Gems titled The Bride. The original script for the film came from Blair Butler (Polaroid, Hell Fest), and Emile Gladstone, the producer behind The Curse of La Llorona, is producing the movie.

The story for the film follows “a young woman who attends a lavish destination wedding, unaware of the horrors that await.” What horrors, you ask? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see!

Thompson most recently directed six episodes of See-Saw Films’ upcoming TV series The End. As for Butler, she is currently in development with Bad Robot on the horror film The Steps. She also just wrapped her first season as a producer on the TV series Helstrom.

I always like a good horror movie, so it’ll be interesting to see what kind of horror film The Bride ends up being.
