The Cast For Mike Flanagan's Netflix Horror Series MIDNIGHT MASS Has Been Announced
Director Mike Flanagan (Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of Hill House) is deep in development on his upcoming Netflix horror series, Midnight Mass, and he’s managed to put together an impressive cast of actors. Some of these actors have starred in his previous projects.
Midnight Mass will consist of seven episodes, and Flanagan will direct all of them. The series is set on “an isolated island community that experiences miraculous events — and frightening omens — after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest.”
The cast of the series includes Zach Gilford (Friday Night Lights, The Purge: Anarchy), Kate Siegel (The Haunting of Hill House), and Hamish Linklater (Legion) are set in lead roles. Joining them are Annabeth Gish (The Haunting of Hill House), Michael Trucco (Hunter Killer), Samantha Sloyan (Grey’s Anatomy), Henry Thomas (The Haunting of Hill House), Rahul Abburi (Killer Ransom), Crystal Balint (The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco), Matt Biedel (Altered Carbon), Alex Essoe (Doctor Sleep), Rahul Kohli (Supergirl), Kristin Lehman (The Chronicles of Riddick), Robert Longstreet (Doctor Sleep), Igby Rigney (Blue Bloods) and Annarah Shephard.
Flannagan is a great filmmaker who knows how to tell a fantastic story and I can’t wait to see how this series turns out! I’m confident that it won’t disappoint.
