The Cast of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA Will Reunite for a Live-Read of the Episode Titled '33'
In case you didn’t know, SyFy Channel has made the incredible Battlestar Galactica available to for free on their website. If you’ve never seen the series, you have no excuses! This is easily one of the best sci-fi dramas ever made, and it is a must-watch. The series is incredibly smart and well-written, and as I am currently rewatching it, it still holds up.
There’s also a Battlestar Galactica podcast that you can listen to titled “Syfy Wire: Battlestar Galacticast” that features BSG cast member Tricia Helfer (Number 6), who joins Marc Bernardin to dive the depths of every episode of the series. There’s a lot of great information and insight that fans of the series are sure to enjoy.
Anyway, on April 20, a bonus episode will be released on the podcast that features the cast of the series reuniting with a live read of the brilliant and beloved episode “33.” The cast members joining include Edward James Olmos, James Callis, Jamie Bamber, Katee Sackhoff, Michael Trucco, Rekha Sharma and more.
"33" follows Galactica and her civilian fleet as they are forced to contend with constant Cylon pursuit for days without sleep; they are forced to ultimately destroy one of their own ships to foil the Cylons and earn their first respite of the series.
If you’re a fan of Galactica, this is something that you probably don’t want to miss out on.
