The Oneders are reuniting! The cast of the groovy 1996 film That Thing You Do!, which was written and directed by Tom Hanks, is getting back together for a live-stream commentary! This will be the first time the cast has reunited since the movie was released!
Cast member Ethan Embry announced the news on Twitter, saying that the event will take place on YouTube this Friday April 17th, at 7:00pm ET/4:00pm PT. The film was inspired by Hanks’s love of The Beatles and other ’60s musical acts, the film told the story of a fictional “one hit wonder” band in the ’60s who called themselves The Wonders. According to Embry all four members of the band will come back together, which also includes Tom Everett Scott, Johnathon Schaech, and Steve Zahn. Liv Tyler will also show up along with “special surprise guests," which could include Hanks or even Charlize Theron.
