It Looks Like The Cast of THE WEST WING Will Be Reuniting Soon For a Reading
For those of you who are fans of Aaron Sorkin’s fantastic White House drama series The West Wing, you’ll be happy to hear that the stars of the show are discussing the possibility of a reunion in support of Black Lives Matter.
Richard Schiff, who played Toby Ziegler in the iconic NBC political drama, recently tweeted that work is underway on a “cast reunion and reading,” adding that the get-together would be “coming soon.”
Schiff didn’t offer any more details, but it would be wonderful to see this cast get together again for a script reading. This won’t be the first time The West Wing cast have reunited. They’ve come together with creator Aaron Sorkin a number of times, including in 2016 when they did an ATX Festival reunion panel.
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen this show but it’s a brilliantly written series that deals with themes that are still very much relevant today. What I liked about it most was how it offered an inside look at what goes on inside the White House as the president and staffers are trying to run the country and the sacrifices that they make to be there.
Democratic or Republican, it’s not an easy job for anyone to be involved with running the country.
