The CASTLE PANIC DELUXE EDITION Kickstarter is Live

UPDATE: Fireside Games has canceled the Kickstarter, but they will launch a new one in the future featuring deluxe versions of the expansions for Castle Panic as well. The original article follows.

A few weeks ago, Fireside Games announced that Castle Panic Deluxe Edition was coming to Kickstarter in June. Well, the Kickstarter is live now and I was not wrong about it not being cheap. The lowest tier available for backers is designed for people who already own the game and don’t want a new copy.

For $60, you can get just the new plastic parts of the game including the miniatures for the monsters. The price then goes up from there to give you a new copy of the game with the plastic figures and cards with new art and more.

Castle Panic is a fantastic game and I’m excited to see it getting an update. Oh, and I’m also excited that the Kickstarter was fully funded in 11 minutes!
