The Classic BUCKY O'HARE Cartoon Series Is Getting a Rebooted Action Figure Line
Do you remember the early '90s cartoon series Bucky O'Hare? I remember watching a few episodes of the show when I was growing up, but it wasn't one of my favorites. The property was originally developed as a comic book in the '80s by Larry Hama and Michael Golden. It centered on the story of a brave band of mammal freedom fighters who are battling the all-conquering Toad Empire.
I don't know if any of you owned any of the action figures for the series. We had a few of them in the house back in the day. If you were a fan of the series when you were a kid, you'll be happy to know that Boss Fight Studio will be rebooting the action figure line.
According to their Facebook page, they will be producing "highly-articulated 4"+ scale, collectible toys of Bucky O'Hare, his S.P.A.C.E. allies and Toad enemies!" They say:
"Bucky has been at the top of our list from the beginning. We're big fans!"
I'm surprised that someone in Hollywood hasn't tried to adapt Bucky O'Hare into a movie yet. I can't help but think that one day it will happen. Are you happy to hear that Bucky is making an action figure comeback? Who knows, maybe it will lead to something more .
