The CLONE HIGH Revival Series Gets a Super Fun and Crazy New Trailer
HBO Max has released a full trailer for the upcoming Clone High series, which is a revival of the cult classic animated series by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. It’s pretty crazy that 21 years after the series was canceled after one season, it’s made a comeback like this!
The new series has the same animation style, the same characters, and even some of the same members of the voice cast. This show looks like it’s captured the spirit of the original series and is going to offer audiences some amusing entertainment!
After a high school that was secretly being run as an elaborate military experiment to clone “the greatest minds in history was put on ice, the clones have been thawed out 20 years later to resume the experiment with new clone classmates – all while navigating a new set of cultural norms and overly dramatic teen relationships in this modern refresh of the animated comedy series.”
The voice cast includes Will Forte as Abe Lincoln, Nicole Sullivan as Joan of Arc, Christa Miller as Candide Simpson, Donald Faison as George Washington Carver, Judah Miller as Scangrade, plus Ayo Edebiri, Mitra Jouhari, Vicci Martinez, Kelvin Yu, Neil Casey, Jana Schmieding, and many others.
Clone High was created by Bill Lawrence (Ted Lasso), Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who also write the series. Other writers include Matt Marshall and Erica Rivinoja. HBO will debut the Clone High revival on Max on May 23rd.
