THE CONJURING 2 Has a Release Date

Movie The Conjuring 2 by Joey Paur

The Conjuring is one of the best horror films I've seen in a long time. I loved what James Wan did with it, and the movie actually scared me. Shortly after the film was released New Line and Warner Bros. announced The Conjuring 2, and now they've given it a release date of October 23rd, 2015.

There's no official plot information for the sequel, but Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will be reprising their roles. Here's one of the of the possible storylines that may have leaked.

"The case file they’re looking at occurs in the late ’70s and centers on two sisters in Enfield, England, who were allegedly possessed. Warren said she personally saw them levitate and even saw one of the sister dematerialize in front of her only to be found 20 minutes later stuffed into an over sized fuse box, contorted in such an unnatural way that they couldn’t have replicated it if they tried. She also said that the demon spoke directly to her husband on many occasions. Warren cited this case as one of the most terrifying experiences of her career.”

I really hope that Wan comes back to direct the sequel, but if he doesn't I hope they bring on someone who has what it takes to make an equally amazing horror film.
