The Corridor Crew Gang Breakdown and Recreate The Classic T-1000 VFX From TERMINATOR 2
I’ve got a new video here from Corridor Crew to share with you today in which they breakdown and discuss the amazing 30-year-old VFX work created for James Cameron’s Terminator. Then they embark on a mission to recreate the specific scene where the T-1000 walks through the bars.
While they did a good job recreating it, the original is better and in response to that, they say:
To everyone saying "sorry, but the original shot looks better": Haha we know! Isn't that amazing though? It proves that nothing beats talent, craftsmanship, and a good eye when it comes to making art. The tools are secondary. I really wish I had more time time make a V2. I learned so much from my first attempt that I feel confident I could make it much better if I tried again. Still though, nothing but MAD RESPECT for the original artists!
It is pretty incredible how well those 30-year-old effects hold up after all of these years! Check out the video below and let us know what you think!
