The Creator of JOHN WICK is Developing a HITMAN Series at Hulu
The best-selling action-packed game Hitman is getting a new adaptation! This time it will be in the form of a series being produced by Hulu and Fox 21. The series is being developed by Derek Kolstad, who is the dude that created John Wick. He wrote the first John Wick film and the third one that is set to be released in 2019.
I wasn't a big fan of either of the Hitman films that have been released. Maybe Kolstad will be able to bring something awesome and badass to this series. He's currently writing the script for the pilot episode and he'll be an executive producer on the project as well.
According to Deadline, Hulu hopes that Hitman will become a flagship series. They'll have a better chance of that as long as they deliver a good high-quality show that's better than the films. The series will center on Agent 47, a meticulous and lethal assassin and I can easily see each episode of the show focusing on a different assassination attempt.
