The Crooked Man From THE CONJURING 2 Is Getting a Spinoff Film

New Line Cinema is expanding their Conjuring Universe with another spinoff from from The Conjuring 2. The new horror movie they are moving forward with is based on The Crooked Man. I'm sure you all remember that creepy-ass malevolent demon! I included a clip below just in case you need a refresher.

The film will be based on a story by James Wan and that will be adapted into a screenplay by Mike Van Waes. Here are the lyrics to the creepy song from the Conjuring 2 that played before The Crooked Man revealed itself.

I loved the Crooked Man concept used in The Conjuring 2 and I'm pretty excited that it's getting its own movie. This will be the fourth Conjuring spinoff film. The first was Annabelle, and then the next two films coming out are Annabelle: Creation and The Nun.
