The Cult Classic Halloween Horror Film TRICK 'R TREAT is Coming To Theaters For The First Time!

I’ve got some exciting news for all of you horror movie lovers out there! If you’re a fan of the cult classic 2007 Halloween film Trick ‘R Treat, this fall, you’ll finally be able to watch it in theaters on the big screen! This movie has never had a wide theatrical release, so this will be the first time!

I actually had the opportunity years ago to attend a theatrical screening of the film for a Halloween event and it was an awesome experience! I’m excited that I have the opportunity to watch it on the big screen again and, of course, excited for all of you who have never had the opportunity!

The news was originally posted by Twitter user @dansferatu, who shared a post about Regal's October lineup, which included Trick 'R Treat, The Lost Boys, Scream 2, and Halloween. WB Classic (@wbclassicfilms) then shared that user's tweet with the caption, "The cat's out of the bag! Trick r Treat is coming to theaters this fall for the first time EVER!" You can check out those tweets below:

Trick ‘R Treat is my favorite Halloween movie because it perfectly captures the spirit of the season. It’s a tradition for me to watch it every Halloween night, and maybe this year I’ll get to watch it in theaters! But, there’s are no screening dates to share yet.

In the movie, “Interwoven stories demonstrate that some traditions are best not forgotten as the residents (Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker) of a small town face real ghosts and goblins on Halloween. Tales of terror reveal the consequences of extinguishing a Jack-o-Lantern before midnight and a grumpy hermit's encounter with a sinister trick-or-treater.”

The movie was written and directed by Michael Dougherty, and it stars Dylan Baker, Rochelle Aytes, Anna Paquin and Brian Cox.

Back in 2013, the filmmakers announced that a sequel, Trick 'r Treat 2, was in the works. But, unfortunately. nothing has ever come from that.

Will you be watching Trick ‘R Treat in theaters!?
