The CW is Developing Haunted House Thriller with STRANGER THINGS Producer
The CW is teaming with Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy to develop a haunted house drama called Epiphany. THR reports The project is described as being Stanley Kubrick meets Agatha Christie. The story is said to be a psychological thriller about a group of gifted strangers recruited to a to solve a complex code that lies within the walls of an old mansion.
Spenser Cohen is writing the script and Lee Toland Krieger (The Age of Adaline, The CW's Life Sentence, Lifetime's You) will exec produce and direct the pilot for Warner Bros. This is the first project set up through Krieger's overall deal with WBTV. Cohen will executive produce alongside Levy and his 21 Laps banner.
The highly anticipated second season of 21 Laps' sci-fi drama Stranger Things is set to hit Netflix on October 27.
