The CW Renews Ten Series Including All of the DC Shows, SUPERNATURAL, RIVERDALE, and More
The CW has announced that they have renewed ten of their big hit shows and the fans of those shows are sure to be happy.
All of the DC shows are coming back for another season, which includes Arrow Season 7, The Flash Season 5, Supergirl Season 4, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 4, and Black Lightning Season 2. Fans can also expect another extended crossover between the shows when they return later in the fall.
The network has also renewed Supernatural for Season 14, Riverdale for Season 3, Jane the Virgin for Season 4, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend for Season 4 and Dynasty for Season 2.
It's crazy that Supernatural has been going this long, but the fans are still loving it! The show will air it's 300th episode during Season 14, which seems like a huge deal. That's a lot of episodes and most shows aren't lucky enough to enjoy this kind of longevity.
CW president Mark Pedowitz had this to say in a statement:
"As The CW expands to a six-night, Sunday through Friday schedule next season, we are proud to have such a deep bench of great returning series for 2018-19. By picking these 10 series up for next season, we have a terrific selection of programming to choose from when we set our fall schedule in May, with more still to come. And I’m especially happy that we’ll continue to work with the incredibly talented casts, producers, and writers who create the series our fans are so passionate about."
The network has yet to decide if there will be renewals for The 100, iZombie, Life Sentence and Valor.
