The CW Renews THE FLASH, RIVERDALE, WALKER, KUNG-FU, SUPERMAN & LOIS, and More for New Seasons
The CW has announced several shows have been renewed for new seasons including The Flash, All American, Kung Fu, Nancy Drew, Riverdale, Superman & Lois, and Walker.
The Flash will be back for Season 9, All American will be back for Season 5, Kung Fu will return for Season 3, Nancy Drew will return for Season 4, Riverdale will be back for Season 7, Superman & Lois is coming back for Season 3, and Walker will be back for Season 3.
I don’t watch many shows on The CW anymore. I started with The Flash and Riverdale, and after the first few seasons, I just lost interest in the storylines. I tried watching Walker and Superman & Lois, but they just couldn’t grab my attention after three episodes. I haven’t attempted watching the other due to lack of interest.
Mark Pedowitz, chairman and CEO of The CW Network said in a statement: “As we prepare for the 2022-23 season, these scripted series, along with the alternative series we renewed earlier, will serve as the start of a solid foundation utilizing some of our most-watched series for us to build on for next year and beyond. These dramas are also important to our overall digital strategy, as they are some of our most-streamed and socially-engaged programming, and we look forward to adding more new and returning series to help strengthen and expand our multiplatform footprint.”
Some of the other shows that we have yet to see renewals for include the 4400 spinoff series All American: Homecoming, Batwoman, Charmed, Legends of Tomorrow, In the Dark, Legacies, Naomi, and Roswell, NM.
The CW also has three pilots coming up including the DC project Gotham Knights as well as the prequels Walker: Independence and The Winchesters.
Are any of you CW fans who are happy to see some of these shows renewed?
