The Dangers of Space Are Real in First Trailer for LOST IN SPACE Season 3
Netflix has released a teaser trailer for the third and final season of its sci-fi series Lost in Space. The third season certainly seems to have a darker tone than the previous seasons, and it puts a focus on Will Robinson, who narrates the trailer as he explains that he’s helping his family survive the peril that they’ve found themselves in. The trailer also highlights all of the dangers in space that the Robinson family will be facing.
Lost in Space is a modern reimagining of the classic 1960s science fiction series. Set 30 years in the future, the Robinson family is among those tested and selected to make a new life for themselves in space. However, the new colonists find themselves abruptly torn off-course en route to their new home, and must forge new alliances in order to survive some very dangerous circumstances.
The series stars Toby Stephens (Black Sails, Die Another Day) as John Robinson, and Molly Parker (House of Cards, Deadwood) as Maureen Robinson, Taylor Russell (Falling Skies) is Judy, Mina Sundwall (Maggie’s Plan, Freeheld) is Penny, and Max Jenkins (Sense8, Betrayal) is Will Robinson.
The Netflix Original series is produced by Legendary Television and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless (Dracula Untold, Last Witch Hunter). Zack Estrin (Prison Break) serves as showrunner.
Lost in Space Season 3 will launch on December 1, 2021, on Netflix.
