Bandai Namco have released the season one finale game in their The Dark Pictures Anthology, The Devil in Me. Following up Man of Medan, Little Hope, and House of Ashes, this final game looks like it will certainly deliver a sinister new story with a brand new cast of characters.

Visit the scenic World’s Fair Hotel built by American serial killer H.H. Holmes as the crew of Lonnit Entertainment, a low budget documentary company. The creators were lured to the hotel with promises of something truly unique for their true crime show.

The trip takes a turn with their fates in your hands as you make impossible decisions under pressure with their murderous host watching their every move. New gameplay features in the game include being able to climb, jump, crawl, and run through exploration areas that are larger and more complex than ever. Solve puzzles and use a new inventory system and special character tools at the right moment to save their lives.

If you’re brave you can face this horror alone, or you can play with friends online or with up to 5 players in couch mode. A game like this feels like it would be madness to play with that many people, but maybe it can help to have others help in the decision making.
