The DC Universe Streaming Service May Be Coming Earlier than Expected

The DC Universe streaming service has never had a solid release date. Most people I know have been expecting the service to drop in November or December with a couple thinking October would be a good month. According to CinemaBlend, Dani Snow, who is the DC Entertainment Community Manager, commented in the James Bonding podcast that the service would appear in late August.

We are about to launch, I think late August, our DC Digital platform, which will be a hub for all things DC. There will be digital movies, TV shows that you can watch, streaming. We’re gonna have a lot of comics on there. There’s gonna be a lot of good stuff on there.

We know that with the streaming service launch we’ll get the premiere of Titans and they have more shows in the works including Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, Young Justice: Outsiders, and Harley Quinn.

I’m not 100% sold on joining the service yet, but I am very intrigued depending on pricing and if the shows are actually any good. Are you excited for DC Universe to launch?
