After the awesome success of Godzilla Minus One and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire set to hit theaters soon, the directors behind the two films, Takashi Yamazaki and Adam Wingard, sit down to talk about the legendary Kaiju creature and its epic legacy.

You can watch them in the video below as they also discuss their different take on Godzilla and more. If you’re a fan of Godzilla, this is a video definitely worth checking out.

As I’m watching the video and I’m listening to Adam Winger talk about his love of Godzilla, he’s saying all the right things, things that would give me faith in him as a director to handle this character. But, that did not translate at all with his Godzilla Vs. Kong movie and his upcoming film, The New Empire, doesn’t look too far off from that.

Regardless, it’s still interesting to listen to these two filmmakers talk about their love of Godzilla.
