The Disney Acquisition of Fox May Not Be a Done Deal as Comcast Might Top Disney's Offer

It seems that Fox still has some interested parties after Disney made headlines as the company to buy Fox. Now thanks to a new report from CNBC, Comcast seems to be back in the running before any official acquisition papers are signed.

The report says that negotiations are technically not finalized and that Comcast is considering topping Disney's $52.4 billion offer.

Rupert Murdock favors the Disney offer as the safer option because an acquisition by Comcast would have a harder time passing government regulation. This seems to be a lot more complicated and less cut and dry as initially thought. So don't get your heart completely set on Disney absorbing Fox. It will probably happen, but nothing is guaranteed.

So I think it's safe to pump the brakes a little on our hope of a united MCU. Are you worried about this recent development of the Disney Fox acquisition?
