THE DRAGON PRINCE Season 4 Details Revealed with New Clip at San Diego Comic-Con
The Dragon Prince was at San Diego Comic-Con this year, and fans got quite the treat! During the panel, the team showed off a clip from the first episode of Season 4 that shows Claudia and Viren talking. We also learn that two years have passed since the battle at the end of Season 3 that is dubbed the Battle of the Storm Spire. The clip also shows a slightly older Callum who’s trying to figure out what the deal with the mirror is. The video closes out reminding us that the next chapter in The Dragon Prince is called Mystery of Aaravos.
Co-creators Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond as well as executive producer Villads Spangsberg; lead writer Devon Giehl; and the voice actors for Callum and Claudia, Jack De Sena and Racquel Belmonte respectively, were part of the panel. They revealed that during the multi-season arc of Mystery of Aaravos, fans would “see the enigmatic Startouch elf, Aaravos, take center stage, staking his claim to the magical world of Xadia after centuries of careful planning.” His plan will start to take shape and he’ll use Claudia and Viren to free him. It was also revealed that Janai and Amaya rebuilt the Sunfire elves, Ezran has really taken to his role as Katolis’ king with Soren and Corvus serving as his Crownguard, Zym’s grown up, Callum is now High Mage, and Rayla’s off looking for Viren. Fans should be excited to meet Earthblood elves in the new season, particularly Terry who is described as “affable and very loveable,” in addition to the Drakewood environment.
