THE DRAGONESS: COMMAND OF THE FLAME Looks Like A Fun Game For Fans Of HEROES OF MIGHT AND MAGIC

PQube and Crazy Goat Games have a new game inspired by Heroes of Might and Magic, The Dragoness: Command of the Flame. This new roguelite RPG takes many aspects from HOMM such as base building, exploration, and strategic turn based combat, but adds a rogelite twist. Your job is to restore peace to the war torn Drairthir Peninsula. After the dragons of the peninsula waged war against each other, the Dragoness, queen of the Regal dragons, emerged victorious. However, despite her victory the lands remain fractured. So she has recruited you to help bring peace to the area and rebuild the once great capital of Niwenborth. The game sounds like a lot of fun, I’m not usually a fan of the strategic turn based combat systems, but HOMM is one of the few that I absolutely love and based on the trailer, this one looks very similar. You can check out the story trailer below and though the game doesn’t release until September 1 on Steam, you can try out a free demo now.
