The DUNGEONS & DRAGONS STARTER SET Is at an All-Time Low Price

We’ve been writing a lot about Dungeons & Dragons lately, and from your emails and comments, it sounds like you’re enjoying it. Well, if you want to try the game out, now may be the best time ever. The Starter Set is available from Wal-Mart and Amazon right now for an all-time low price of $10.98. This gives you enough to get your very first game going for you and up to five of your friends. You get a simple rulebook, six dice, a pre-made adventure “The Lost Mine of Phandelver,” and five pre-made characters so you can simply open the box and play. I have been playing through “The Lost Mine of Phandelver” with some friends, and it’s a great adventure to start on.

Also, the core rulebooks are also on sale right now. It’s not as good of a deal as we saw back in December, but it’s still lower than the normal $50 per book. The Player’s Handbook is currently $22.74 (Amazon/Wal-Mart), the Monster Manual is $30.86 (Amazon/Wal-Mart), and the Dungeon Master’s Guide (the least important in my opinion) is $20.94 (Amazon/Wal-Mart).
