The English Dub for the CHAINSAW MAN Anime Hits Crunchyroll Next Week
Chainsaw Man has been a popular manga for a while and it recently launched an anime adaptation on Crunchyroll that seems to have been met with some good praise. If you enjoy your anime dubbed into English though, you’ve been left out of the party. That all changes on October 25 at 12:30 PM PT when the English dub of Chainsaw Man goes live on Crunchyroll.
Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.
One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as "Chainsaw Man"--a man with a devil's heart.
In addition, it was announced that Lindsay Seidel (Attack on Titan Final Season) will be doing the English voice for Pochita. She joins Ryan Colt Levy (My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission) as Denji, Suzie Yeung (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Makima, Reagan Murdock (Dragon Ball Super) as Aki, and Sarah Wiedenheft (Black Clover) as Power under the ADR direction of Mike McFarland (Attack on Titan). Additional dubs for Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Russian are in the works and will have dates and cast revealed soon.
