It’s been a rough week with the passing of Stan Lee and all wee we’ve been seeing fans pay tribute to the comic book legend. I’ve compiled a few of them here for you that I liked.

The first two pieces comes from artist Jeff Victor, who did a couple pieces featuring Lee in his popular “Evolution” style art series.

When one story ends, another begins. To the man that can make a pen mightier than Mjolnir itself, the story you’ve left behind will be the inspiration for millions more. Thank you for all the dreams. . . . My last post was for Stan himself, this one is more for me. The comics Stan helped breath life into influenced my childhood in a way that set me out on the career path to be a comic artist from an early age. Well clearly that didn’t work out but it did keep me studying in the art field that eventually led to this hobby as my main expressive medium. I wanted to do a proper tribute to the man that is in no small part responsible for the artist I am today, in medium I enjoy. For me. For Stan. For all of us... Stan Lee, you will be missed. You blessed us all with your time here on Earth. You helped me become the person that I am today. Its because of your beautiful story telling and charactees that you helped take a bullied and insecure kid and through Spider-man, you helped me overcome the tough times in my life. I found hope in the words you created. I learned more from the stories you told than I ever did from any classroom. You not only did this for me but you did it for millions of people around the world. Your legacy will live on and we will continue to honor you. I'm sorry we couldn't have made your final years here as amazing as you deserved but I know you are much more happy now. You will be missed. You will not be forgotten.
